Process

Eligibility

WashU affiliated faculty and staff conducting education-focused research or teaching are eligible. This includes:

  • Tenured, tenure-track, and research faculty
  • Professors of practice and full-time teaching faculty
  • Permanent research staff across all schools and departments
Appointment

Individuals can become Center Scholars through two main pathways:

  • By Invitation: The center actively invites qualified individuals to join
  • By Request: You may request to join at any time by completing the application form
Expectations
  • Share relevant opportunities with colleagues and trainees
  • Actively participate in relevant programming throughout the year
  • Participate in surveys, questionnaires, and queries to evaluate center activities
  • Provide an annual update on relevant activities
  • Share your team’s press releases and accomplishments with the center
